María del Rosario López Piñuelas, better known as Charo López, is a Spanish actress born on October 28, 1943, in Salamanca. She began her career in 1967 and is best known for her roles in Beyond Love (1975), Adulterio Nacional (1982), and The Hive or The Secrets of the Heart (1997), for which she won the Goya Award for Best Supporting Actress. She is regularly seen on television and in theater. In 2008, she received the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports.
