Francis David Watkin was a British cinematographer, born March 23, 1925, in Margate, Kent, and died February 19, 2008, in Brighton, East Sussex. He was a member of the British Society of Cinematographers. From his debut in 1965 until 2000 (the year he retired), Watkins contributed to fifty-two films, mostly British, with a number of American films and co-productions.
