Ignacio del Moral Ituarte (San Sebastián, September 2, 1957) is a Spanish playwright and screenwriter for film and television. He teaches courses and seminars at various associations and universities in Spain, Mexico, Brazil, and Chile. His teaching activities include serving on the faculty of the Pacific Screenwriting School. He belongs to a class of writers who cultivate metatheater, such as Paloma Pedrero (1957), Ernesto Caballero (1957), Jorge Márquez (1958), and María Manuela Reina (1958). Since April 9, 2018, he has held the position of president of the AAT (Athlete Association of Theatre Authors), an autonomous section of the ACE (Spanish Professional Association of Writers).
